Gonghe Town, belonging to meilish Daur District of Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the west of the north of meilish Daur District, bordering dahudian town and yarsai town in the East, meilishang town in the south, Halahai town in Longjiang County in the west, dahudian town and yarsai town in the north, with an administrative area of 196 square kilometers.

History of construction

In 1890, Gonghe was under the jurisdiction of Zhenghong banner; in the period of the Republic of China, Gonghe belonged to Longjiang County; in the period of Puppet Manchuria, Gonghe belonged to dahudian Village Office of Longjiang County.

In 1950, the Republic belonged to eight districts of Longjiang County.

In 1956, Gonghe township was established in Gonghe.

Gonghe town belongs to the first terrace of Nenjiang River Valley. The terrain is flat and gently tilts from east to west. The altitude is between 150-160 meters. hydrology

In Gonghe Town, Ergou River, a tributary of Nenjiang River, enters from Longjiang County, flows through Longsheng and Gonghe villages, and then into meilis township. It is about 5km long and has two shuipaozi, with a total area of 460mu and a maximum water depth of 2m.
