Xinying Town, subordinate to Hezheng County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Hezheng County, adjacent to Chengguan town and Xinzhuang Township in the East, Taizishan mountains in the South and Bazhi town in the northwest. The area is 58.88 square kilometers. In 2018, 14123 people registered residence.

In 1950, it was changed into comity zone. In 1954, it belongs to Xinying Township, Huiji autonomous region. In 1958, it was incorporated into the buyer's group commune. In 1961, Xinying commune was established. In September 1983, it returned to Xinying township. In 2016, Xinying township was abolished and Xinying town was established. In October 2019, Xinying town has nine administrative villages.
