Sunjiazhuang town is subordinate to Yu County, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. It is located in the east of Yu County, Yangquan City, bordering Yanchang mountains in the north, Lujia town in the south, county town in the West and Niucun town in the East. It has a total area of 92.78 square kilometers (2017), cultivated land area of 26906.6 mu, 31 administrative villages, 46 party branches, 7746 households, 24059 people (2017), and 970 party members Underground mineral resources are extremely rich and various. The Taishan temple in Yubei was built at an unknown time. It was repaired in 1904. The existing main hall was built in the Yuan Dynasty, the west side hall was built in the Ming Dynasty, and the stage was built in the Qing Dynasty. In December 1986, the people's Government of Yu County announced that it was the first batch of cultural relics protection units at the county level, and it has been declared as a key cultural relics protection unit in Shanxi Province.
