Dongga town
Lang County, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs towns and seven administrative villages including Nie village, Damu village, gagong village, gun village, Zhuo village, zhaxitang village and Dui village. The town government is located in Nie village.
Located in the hinterland of the county, it is adjacent to Milin County in the East, Longzi County of Shannan city in the south, gongbujiangda County in the north, Jiacha County of Shannan city in the west, 32 kilometers away from Lang Town, and 210 kilometers away from Bayi Town, where Linzhi municipal government is located.

Dongga district was set up in June 1959 and changed to Dongga Township in October 1987. In 1996, it covers an area of 500 square kilometers and has a population of 10000. It governs 14 administrative villages, namely gangduo, wuzhu, Luo, Nie, Zhuo, wangre, zhaxitang, guandui, guanmai, Qie, Jiang, gagong and damdui.
The town was changed in December 1999.
