Xinjiezi town

Xinjiezi town belongs to Mianxian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of the county and the North Bank of Hanjiang River. Historical evolution

In the fifth year of Jiaqing (1800) of the Qing Dynasty, the Hanjiang river overflowed and the villages and towns were destroyed. After the disaster, the villages and towns were rebuilt and the market trade was resumed, so it was named Xinjiezi.

In 1951, it was established as Duzhai township.

In 1958, after the merger of Baomian, it was changed into Duzhai management area.
