Taohuayuan Street

Taohuayuan street, located in Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, covers an area of 96 square kilometers and has a total population of 74887. Taohuayuan Street office has jurisdiction over Taohuayuan, two communities in the north of the city and six agricultural villages including Longchi, Shuangfu, Huayuan, dongliukou, tianshanpu and Liangfeng. The street office is located at No. 6 Xinjian Lane (the former office building of Taohuayuan Town People's Government).

Evolution of organizational system

On December 24, 2010, Chongqing Municipal People's Government approved the renaming of Zhongduo town as Taohuayuan town. On October 30, 2014, Chongqing municipal government (Yufu No. 73) approved the cancellation of Taohuayuan town and the establishment of Taohuayuan street and Zhongduo street in Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County.
