Yangjiayuan zezhen

Yangjiayuan town is a branch of Zichang City, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the southeast of Zichang City, it is adjacent to shijiapan Township in the East, Yongping town of Yanchuan County in the south, Wayaobao street in the West and Yujiawan town in the north. The total area is 342.27 square kilometers.

In yangjiayuan Town, there is a Niangniang Temple in yangjiayuan, a county-level cultural relic protection unit.

Historical evolution

In the ninth year of Shunzhi (1652) of the Qing Dynasty, the village was named yangjiayuanzi by the surname of Yang, which was later called yangjiayuanze.

In 1935, it belonged to the East First District of Anding county.

In 1958, pioneer commune was established.

In 1984, it was changed to yangjiayuan town.

In 2011, reisiwan township was abolished and merged into yangjiayuan town.
