Yanglin Township

Yanglin Township, as a place name, has the same name in seven provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China, including Qianshan County in Jiangxi Province, Harbin City in Heilongjiang Province, Shaoshan City in Hunan Province and Anhua County in Hunan Province. Due to the influence of natural conditions and different local policy planning, there are differences in the development and construction of each township.

Yanglin township is located in the center of Qianshan County, 38 kilometers away from the county seat, at the foot of Gexian mountain, adjacent to Yongping town and Zixi Township in the East, huanggangshan town in the south, Gangdong Township in the West and Hongqiao Township in the north. It is one of the four ancient market towns in Qianshan County. Yangcun district was established in the early days of the people's Republic of China. In 58, Yangcun commune was established. In 60, it was named Yangcun town. In 84, it was changed to Yanglin township. the territory is a semi mountainous and semi hilly area, with high terrain in the South and low terrain in the north, undulating hills in the South and hills in the East and West. Yanglin river passes through the central part and runs through the north and south. The West Bank is the valley of Pingfan, and the southeast mountainous area is rich in bamboo, pine, fir and miscellaneous trees. Yanglin Township governs 14 administrative villages including Yangcun, Zhongzhou, Changsheng, Quli, Yuwu, Yangzhu, Xieling, Changling, chenjiawu, Shuangyuan, Gaoji, Youyuan, Xiangyuan and Datian, and the street committee of Yangcun Town, with a total of 138 villager groups. The total area of the township is 101 square kilometers, with 18147 mu of cultivated land, including 16347 mu of paddy field and 87705 mu of forest land. Hydropower resources: Yanglin river runs through Yanglin township to irrigate farmland and supply water for production and living. There are 1 yanwuling small type I reservoir and 6 small type II reservoirs. The effective irrigation area accounts for 80% of the total farmland area of Yanglin Township, and 1 200 kW hydropower station is built, which is connected with the large power grid and has sufficient power.

Yanglin township is rich in mineral resources, mainly including metal minerals such as molybdenum, tungsten, tin, coke, gem, clay, etc.; non-metallic minerals such as raw coal, limestone, gneiss, etc. According to the proven reserves of several mineral resources are: 39.3 million tons of tungsten and tin ore, 5.38 million tons of raw coal, 20 million tons of copper ore, 1 billion tons of limestone, 1.2 million tons of coke and gem ore, and 1 million tons of bauxite ore.

The main peak of Gexian mountain is 1096 meters and 3 meters above sea level. It is a scenic spot with a vast development prospect and great potential for development and utilization. Gexianshan temple was built in the seventh year of Yuanyou (1092 AD) of the Northern Song Dynasty. It is a famous mountain integrating Taoism and Buddhism. Gexianshan has "Gexianshan Temple", with more than 20 large and small temples. It is built according to the mountain, progressive, simple and dignified. After construction in recent years, it is more pleasant now. According to records, Zhao Wu of the Ming Dynasty, in his book Fei Sheng Tai Ji, said that it, together with Jiuhua Mountain, Huangshan Mountain, Xiandu mountain, Yandang Mountain and Wuxia mountain, was treasured by Tianshan Mountain. Xieling village, 5km away from the township government, has a group of natural caves, covering an area of about 20000 square meters. The grotesque rocks in the cave give people reverie. The spacious place in the cave can accommodate hundreds of people, and the narrow place can only be entered by cats, giving people a feeling of turning around. At present, there are 1 county-level asphalt road and 14 rural roads, which are open to traffic in every village. Yongping railway station has been built on Hengnan railway line 5 km away from Yanglin, which opened freight and passenger transport business in 1999. Shangfen war preparation Highway 7 km away from Yanglin started in the second half of 2001 and is expected to be completed in October 2002, which provides favorable conditions for accelerating the development of Yanglin. The main products of Yanglin township are sweet potato, soybean, mat grass, Camellia oleifera, etc. Among them, the annual yield of sweet potato is 200000 kg, and there is still potential for further development. 2. In recent years, Yanglin township has made full use of its rich mineral resources. There are 7 large and small coal mines with an annual output of 50000 tons; 1 coke and gem clinker kiln with an annual output of 900 tons; 10 lime kilns with an annual output of more than 10000 tons; 2 machine brick factories with an annual output of 20 million red bricks. The agriculture of Yanglin township is mainly rice planting, with rice planting area of 12347 Mu and annual grain output of 16.34 million jin.
