Daiziying town

Daiziying town belongs to Tongguan County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the east of the county, bordering Yuling Town, Lingbao City, Henan Province in the East, Taiyao town in the South and West, and Qindong town in the north. The maximum distance between the north and the south is 7.6 km, and the maximum distance between the East and the west is 8.8 km, with a total area of 52.08 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, daiziying town has one community and five administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Dai Zi Ying Town was 25302. In 2007, the total industrial and agricultural output value of daiziying town was 3191.8 million yuan. In 2008, the per capita net income of farmers in daiziying town was 3101 yuan.

Historical evolution

In the Ming Dynasty, there were military barracks stationed in the local area. The flag of the barracks was written with the word "Dai", so it was named.

Before 1944, each village was under the jurisdiction of Tongguan county and Wenxiang County in Henan Province. In the same year, after the demarcation of Tongguan and Wenxiang, Hancheng town was set up, and the government was stationed in Xielu village. It has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages, namely jinbeidong, Yaoqing, daiziying, beixiema, shangfenjing, xiafenjing and Liuguo; and 11 administrative villages, namely, Jinzhi Township, are under the jurisdiction of jinchuanchengzi, dongnian, Xinian, Xiyao, Dongli, dongma, Potou, Nantou, Wanjialing, shangbeitou and xiabeitou.

In 1951, the township was divided into districts, which was the fourth district. Beitou village was set up by the district government.

In January 1955, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Daiziying Township and Nantou Township were set up respectively.

In 1958, it was changed into daiziying management area.

In August 1961, the administrative area was changed to commune.

In 1984, the commune was abolished and the township was established.

In 2009, it was renamed daiziying town.

In 2011, daiziying town was merged with Nantou Township, called daiziying Town, and the town government was stationed in daiziying village.

There is less rain and drought in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool and dry in autumn, cold and less snow in winter. The annual average temperature is 13 ℃, and the annual average precipitation is 593 mm. The rainfall is mainly concentrated from May to October, with the most in August.
