Xinjichuan town
Xinjichuan Town, subordinate to Longxian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northwest of Longxian County, connecting huoshaozhai town in the East, Guguan town in the south, Ma'an Town, Shangguan town and Shenyu town in Huating County, Gansu Province in the West and North. The maximum distance from east to west is 18.53 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13.63 km, with a total area of 104.50 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, xinjichuan town has four administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Xinji Town was 5997. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of xinjichuan town was 50.42 million yuan, there were 35 commercial outlets, and the total financial revenue was 1.24 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It was originally named xinjichuan, but later it got its name because of the homophony of Chuandao.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to dongliangli, a northeast township.
During the period of the Republic of China, Wenshui town and ChiYan town were jointly protected.
In July 1949, it belonged to warm water area.
In 1958, it belonged to the seventh commune of red flag.
In May 1961, it was changed into the new Jichuan administrative area of Yangling commune.
In April 1962, xinjichuan commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed into xinjichuan Township, with jurisdiction over nine administrative villages.
In July 2005, liujiahe village was merged into baojiahe village, and morxia village and baiyanglin village were merged into xinjichuan village.
In July 2011, it was changed to xinjichuan town.

Water system hydrology
The rivers in xinjichuan town belong to the Weihe River System in the Yellow River Basin. The main rivers are shigangou River and Dahei river. The largest river in the territory is shikuanggou river. From xinjichuan village to Lijiashan, it flows through Nanpo village in the territory, with a flow length of 6.3 kilometers, a drainage area of 29.4 square kilometers, and an average annual flow of 0.2 cubic meters per second.

Longmendong Scenic Area
Longmendong scenic spot is a national AAAA scenic spot and an ancient Taoist temple complex. It is located at the foot of Jingfu mountain in the south section of Liupanshan Mountain in the northwest of Longxian County, Shaanxi Province and at the junction of Shaanxi and Gansu. It is one of the five great suspended Taoist temples in China and the first place where Qiu Chuji founded the Taoist Longmen school. It began in the spring and Autumn period, was built in the Western Han Dynasty and flourished in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties. It is the "Longmen ancestral court" of Quanzhen Taoism. Therefore, it is known as the holy land of Longmen sect, and is determined as a provincial Taoist temple and key cultural relics protection unit in Shaanxi Province. Longmen cave is a famous scenic spot in the west of Shaanxi Province. The landscape is famous for its adventure. It looks east and West with Wushan (belonging to Baoji), the "West Town", reflecting each other.
Since the 1980s, the local government has successively renovated and developed the longmendong building complex, and formed the longmendong forest park with the surrounding natural landscape, and the longmendong scenic area with Jingfu mountain and Leishen mountain.
