Zhengcun township is subordinate to Xiushui County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the south central part of Xiushui County, adjacent to Huangsha town and Heshi town in the East, Shankou town and ManJiang town in the south, ma'ao town and Zhuping town in the west, and Yining town in the north. History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, the territory was divided into the thirty-two and thirty-three capitals of Wuxiang and the thirty-four and thirty-five capitals of Gaoxiang.
During the period of the Republic of China, the territory was divided into Zhengcun Township and Fujiang township.
In September 1949, it was divided into four townships of Tankeng, Nan'an, Zhengcun, Laimei (part) in Shankou district and three townships of Wuping, Baisha, Fujiang in Yining district; in September 1956, it was merged into Zhengcun and Fujiang townships; in September 1958, Zhengcun commune and chijiang commune were established, respectively under Shankou district and Yining district; in March 1960, chijiang commune was merged into Zhengcun commune, and the commune was stationed in Zhengcun commune; in September 1961, it was restored Fuchijiang commune; in September 1968, chijiang commune was merged into Zhengcun commune again; in January 1972, chijiang commune was separated again; in June 1984, it was renamed Zhengcun Township and chijiang Township, Zhengcun Township still belongs to Shankou District, chijiang Township belongs to ningzhou district; in January 1996, chijiang township was merged into Zhengcun township.
