Jinyang road street, belonging to Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the north of Yaozhou District, adjacent to Donghe town in the East, Donghe town and sunyuan town in the southeast, Tianbao road street in the south, Xianfeng road street in the West and southwest, Guanzhuang town in the northwest, Shizhu Township in the north, with a total area of 42.1 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

It is named after jinyangchuan.

In October 1949, Sigou district was set up, which is located in Sigou village and has jurisdiction over five townships.

In May 1950, it was changed to Xiaoyi district.

In February 1956, Shigou township was set up, with 18 senior communities under its jurisdiction.

In September 1958, it belonged to Hongqi commune; in December 1958, it was incorporated into Yaocheng commune of Tongchuan City.

In May 1961, Sigou commune was established, with 19 production teams under its jurisdiction.

In August 1961, it returned to Yaoxian County, with 21 production brigades under its jurisdiction.

In April 1983, Sigou township was established.

In April 1998, cuishang and Dongpo villages were assigned to xiagaonian township.

In May 1998, Sigou township was abolished and Sigou town was established.

In June 2005, three villages, Yanghe, cuixing and Huailin, were assigned to Tianbao road street.

In June 2011, sigouyuan village of Guanzhuang town was included.

By the end of 2011, Jinyang road had 15 administrative villages, including Sigou, Yinhe, agushe, Sujiadian, sigouyuan, Yangjiazhuang, cuixian, muyuan, Baijiazhuang, Zhanghao, Haobao, Nancun, Shuiyu, lvpo and Bailian, and 60 villager groups.
