Gepai town
Gepai Town, belonging to Lantian County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the hinterland of Qinling Mountains in Lantian County, on the West Bank of the upper reaches of Wangyu River. It borders YANGXIE Town, Shangzhou District, Shangluo City in the East, Caoping Town, Zhashui County, Shangluo City in the south, Yuchuan town in the West and Lanqiao town in the north, with a total area of 192.57 square kilometers.
Gepai town is the earliest red revolutionary base established by the former Red Army in Guanzhong, Shaanxi Province in 1935, which has an important historical position.
