Jijia Street

Located in the west of Gaoling District, Xi'an City, it is adjacent to Chonghuang street in the East, Jingwei street across Jinghe River in the south, Tongyuan street in the north, Chongwen town and Yongle Town in Jingyang County of Xianyang City in the west, with a total area of 40.81 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 4 communities and 12 administrative villages.

The first grade West copper road passes through the territory, with the entrance and exit of Jinghe River.

Evolution of organizational system

Majiawan township is located on the South Bank of Jinghe River. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was named majiawan township. In 1958, it was changed into lighthouse commune. In 1966, it was named Xudong commune. In 1972, it was renamed again. In 1984, it was changed into majiawan township. Ji's hometown is located on the North Bank of the Jing River. It was Ji's hometown in 1952, and Qiyi commune was established with Chonghuang Township in 1958. It was restored to Chonghuang commune in 1961, changed to Hongqing commune in 1966, changed to Jijia commune in 1972, and changed to Ji's hometown in 1984. In 2001, majiawan Township and Ji Township were abolished and merged into Jingwei town. In 2012, Jingwei town was abolished and Jingwei street was established. In March 2016, 12 administrative villages and 4 communities in Jingwei street were divided into Jijia street. It was officially renamed on August 1, 2016.

The urbanization construction of Jijia street has begun to take shape: Jinghe bridge, Weihe bridge and Xitong first-class road make the communication between the area and the urban area of Xi'an more convenient, and there are 315, 316, 318, 319 and 328 roads between the urban area of Xi'an and the area, so the traffic is very convenient. Jingweiyuan, jingxinyuan, Checheng hot spring garden, baihualinjiayuan and other residential areas have been built and put into use. Shaanxi Automobile hospital, Xi'an Metallurgical hospital, Jingwei hospital, Changqing Jingwei primary school, Changqing No.2 Middle School, Xi'an Economic Development high school, Xi'an Jingwei school and other social service facilities have been improved, and Renrenle shopping plaza, Jiafule shopping center, China Resources Wanjia and other commercial centers have been built.

Yangguanzhai site is located on the first terrace on the left bank of Jinghe River to the east of group 4, yangguanzhai village, Jijia street, Gaoling District, Xi'an City, with an altitude of about 498 meters. The site is adjacent to Lei village in the north, Xuwu village in the East and Jinghe River in the south, covering an area of more than 800000 square meters. The Jingwei River confluenced about 4 km east of the site to form the Jingwei Delta. 23 houses of various types were found in the southern area, 496 ash pits, 10 pottery kilns and 8 urn coffin burials in the Yangshao period, and 5273 pieces of pottery, 353 pieces of stone tools, 303 pieces of bone ware and 16 pieces of mussel ware were unearthed. The cultural accumulation mainly belongs to Miaodigou cultural relics and Banpo four period cultural relics. A total of 26 houses, 334 ash pits, 16 pottery kilns and 24 urn coffins of Yangshao period were excavated in the northern district. The cultural accumulation is mainly the remains of Miaodigou culture. Since 2004, Shaanxi Provincial Institute of archaeology has carried out large-scale excavation of the site. In March 2008, yangguanzhai site was selected as one of the "top ten new archaeological discoveries in China" and ranked first. In March 2013, the State Council of the people's Republic of China announced yangguanzhai site as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
