Wenbudangsang township is under the jurisdiction of Geji County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is located in the east of the county, adjacent to Gaize County in the East. The permanent resident population is 1926 (2010 sixth census). It has jurisdiction over two administrative villages. Township government, Township People's Congress and township party committee are stationed in Xiama village. S301 highway transit.

The Salt Lake area was established in May 1961. In 1996, it had a population of 2900 and governed three townships, including four administrative villages in Xiama Township, three administrative villages in jiangmai Township and three administrative villages in Jiangduo township. In 2001, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Salt Lake Township and wenbudangsang Township were established. In 2000, the permanent population of wenbudangsang township was 1976 (Wupu). In 1984, it governed the villages of meiredong, PEM, lamare, Aere, Garma, niaoge and BOJIANG in sangxiang. Geography
Wenbudangsang township is located in the east of Geji County, Ali Prefecture, Tibet. It is connected with Wuma and Mami townships in Gaize County in the East, and adjacent to Salt Lake Township in Geji County in the northwest. It has two administrative villages, Luoma and Xiama, and eight natural groups. The total area of the township is 1954.75 square kilometers, with a total grassland area of 9.5475 million mu. The lowest elevation is 4422 meters, and the highest elevation is 5896 meters. The township government is 360 km away from Shiquanhe town. It is dry and rainless all year round, with annual precipitation of 80-110 mm. in 2000, there were 391 households and 1973 people in the township, with 107173 livestock in stock, including 48068 goats, 54884 sheep, 3563 yaks and 658 horses.
