Jiangmian township is located in the eastern part of the county (part of its jurisdiction is in Zaduo County, Qinghai Province). It belongs to Baqing County, Naqu City, Tibet Autonomous Region, with a total population of 5882 (2010 Liupu).

Baqing County governs the township. It is located in the east of the county (part of its jurisdiction is in Zaduo County, Qinghai Province), adjacent to Laxi town and Ya'an town in the South and Dingqing County in the East. The permanent resident population is 5882 (the sixth census in 2010). It has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages. Township government in porongtang village. Jiangmian, which means "Ping'an" in Tibetan, is the dialect of Baqing. According to the records in the history of Qing Dynasty, Jiangmian belongs to the "hol 39 nationality". According to the Chinese Tibetan tribe, Jiangmian township is the upper part of yita tribe and the lower part is Laxi town.

The township was established in 1960 and the commune was changed in 1971. In 1988, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Manta Township and Bada Township were merged into Manta Township, and rongqian Township and Bucha village were merged into Rongqing township. In 1996, Manta Township, with a population of about 2000, has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages including Maqin, Selong, xiarugage, mapoya, Mameng, songmuma, Gangzhen, Longbao, Gangqin and qimuku. The township government is stationed in purang Tang (11 villages including maqinggai, sexinglong, xiaqiangamuduo, gongqiong, Gangqian, mude, manxiong, Satou, Kalong, manpudinie and Longding), and Rongqing The township, with a population of about 12000, governs three administrative villages, namely, longer, sonila and rongqian, and the township government is stationed in maniyangga (i.e., five villages, namely nichangu, sonila, maliyangga, muxiong and pabaona, zhumuxiong). In 2000, there were 2543 permanent residents in Manta township (Wupu) and 1481 permanent residents in Rongqing township (Wupu). In 2002, Manta Township and Rongqing Township were abolished and Jiangmian township was established.
