Chaqu Township
Chaqu township is located in the middle of Ru County, which is a semi farming and semi pastoral township. The township government is located on the Ru to Naqu highway, about 61 kilometers away from the county. The total area of the township is 606.17 square kilometers. It governs 19 administrative villages with 7174 people (2017). The township units include central primary school, animal defense station, credit cooperatives, grain and oil stations, health centers, supply and marketing cooperatives, and film teams.
