Niangpu Township

In 1964, when gongbujiangda and Xueba merged, it was niangpu District, and in September 1987, it was changed to township. In 1996, it covers an area of 4500 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. It governs 11 administrative villages of Wula, ganglang, cuolang, Jilang, Tongguo, Xiasha, Mirui, gujue, bangang, Jiangju and Lalu.

In 2018, niangpu Township implemented the project of building village level activity venues in three administrative villages of laru, Tongji and Mirui.
On December 5, 2018, laru village level cultural activity site in niangpu township was completed and put into use. The project covers an area of 2000 m2, with a construction area of 623 m2 and an investment of 2.01 million yuan.

Niangpu Township Central Primary School is the highest school in gongbujiangda county.
In July 2017, gesantaqing of niangpu Central Primary School was admitted to Nanhai art high school in Foshan. He was the first student admitted to the Tibetan Class in the mainland since the school was founded 23 years ago, which is a historic breakthrough of niangpu Central Primary School.
Spiritual civilization construction
At the end of September 2019, niangpu Township held an art performance to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, including dance, solo, song and dance, Guozhuang, duet, etc., with more than 500 people watching the performance.
At the end of 2018, Wan zhourang, a doctor of niangpu Township Health Center, was awarded the title of "moral model of Linzhi city for doing just deeds".
Exemplary deeds
On November 8, 2017, the Ando hotel in niangpu Township caught fire. Wan Zhou, a doctor on duty in the township health center, heard the danger and rushed into the hotel without hesitation to rescue the elderly and children. famous scenery
Laru temple, located in laru village, niangpu Township, is the second largest temple in Nyingchi city. It was founded in 1440 by Samba quejibaba, a student of zongkaba, the guru of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
PagA temple is located in niangpu township. It was built in the period of the fifth generation. It belongs to the Yellow religion and has more than 1000 statues of Buddha.
Niangpugou, about 50 kilometers northwest of gongbujiangda County, is a tributary on the north side of Niyang River. The upstream of niangpugou is the confluence of supine ditch, Jiaxing ditch and burugou. From niangpu Township, there is a karst cave at the top of burugou. At an altitude of 4200 meters, there are three hot springs, the "nun hot spring" at the top, the "Lama hot spring" at the middle, and the "burugou hot spring" at the bottom. The water temperature is suitable for natural bathing. There are many ancient pines and cypresses near the hot spring, which gather together with caves and streams to form a picturesque symphony.
Yangwogou in the northwest of niangpu township has jagged peaks. At the foot of the mountain, there is baga Temple (baiyanshan Temple), which was built in the period of the fifth Dalai Lama. The Temple belongs to Gelug Sect (yellow sect) of Tibetan Buddhism. In the natural cave above the temple, there are Buddha statues of sacred animals and rock paintings. There are caves in the cave and an overpass.
There is a karst geyser at the bottom of baga temple, which gushes six times a day and is not dry or frozen all the year round. Under the temple, the shrubbery on the side of the ravine and stream, after falling leaves in autumn, is jade red and bright, forming a ten mile long "Hongxia ravine". The pebbles in the ravine and stream are half covered by water, just like pearls scattered on the ground, which is called "Pearl Beach" by people. The landscape is unique and beautiful.
History and culture
Niangpu, formerly known as niangbu, belonged to the small state of niangbu in ancient times and was ruled by the king of niangbu. The ancient Tibetan literature of Dunhuang published more than 1000 years ago recorded: "in the land of Damong, there is the king Niang Zun Langjie, and the subordinate officials woru and Zha. The God is the mother, the God is the mother, and the horse is the flower and the horse. " It can be seen that niangpu has a long history and culture.
Laru village, niangpu Township, was one of the 32 Post stations from Changdu to Lhasa in the Qing Dynasty.
