Marley town
Luolong County, Changdu City, Tibet governs the town. It governs six village committees, namely, Mali village, wahe village, jiuxue village, Xiayu village, Buxu village and still village. The town government is stationed in Mali village.
It is located in the southwest of Changdu City, northeast of Luolong county and Dalong Township in the West.
It is located in Nujiang River basin with high mountain and gorge landform.
The town covers an area of 755.13 square kilometers.
In 2017, there were 5154 Tibetan people in the town.
Historical evolution
The township was established in 1959, the commune was changed in 1970, the township was restored in 1984, and wahe and Jiayu townships were merged in 1988.

Infrastructure construction
National Highway 349 (the upgrade of S303) passes through malizhen.
In early December 2015, the reconstruction project of Mali Luolong highway of S303 was handed over for preliminary inspection.
On December 25, 2015, maquyong hydropower station, located in Buxu village, Mali Town, was completed and put into trial operation, with an installed capacity of 1000 kW, alleviating the shortage of power supply in Luolong county.
In August 2020, the bidding notice for highway construction from Jiuxiu village to ridui natural village was issued, with a total length of 3.45 km.
Culture and education
On August 23, 2017, the Yangtze River academy of Sciences donated office equipment to malizhen primary school in Luolong county.
On November 10, 2020, the third primary school of Mali Town, Luolong county will hold a recitation competition, with a total of 10 students participating.
