Quzika Township
Quzika township is a township under the jurisdiction of Mangkang County, Changdu City, Tibet Autonomous Region. It has three villager committees, namely xiaochangdu village, Daxu village and lajiuxi village, and 13 villager groups.
Basic information
Quzika township is located in the south of Mangkang County, 100km away from the county, beside Lancang River, bordering Naxi nationality township in the southeast, zhayu town of Zuogong county and Bangda township of our county in the northwest, 2km away from national highway 214.
Quzika township is one of the key points of tourism development in the strategy of building Mangkang County into a strong tourism economic and cultural County in eastern Tibet.
Historical evolution
Quzika was under the jurisdiction of Yanjing County, Jingning County and Mangkang county government.
In 1970, it was under the jurisdiction of the Revolutionary Committee of Yanjing district.
In 1999, Yanjing district was abolished and quzika township was established.
Name of quzika
Quzika means "hot spring Holy Land".
