Zuozouxiang
Geer County in Ali Prefecture of Tibet governs the township and three administrative villages, namely shangzuozuo village, xiazuozuo village and Langjiu village, with a total of 10 working groups.
"Zuozuo" is a transliteration of Tibetan, which means groups of Tibetan antelopes in Chinese. It was named after groups of Tibetan antelopes that often appeared in Zuozuo village.
Located in the east of Gar County, it is adjacent to Geji County in the East, Shiquanhe town in the west, Shiquanhe town and MenShi Township in the south, Nitu county and Geji County in the north. It is 38 kilometers away from Shiquanhe Town, the location of Gar County, with an altitude of 4568 meters.
The township has a total land area of 8000 square kilometers.
The resident population was 1426 (2017).
Historical evolution
Before the peaceful liberation of Tibet, most of the township was under the jurisdiction of zuozoben. On January 15, 1961, the people's Government of Zuozuo township was established. In September 1999, the original Zuozuo district was renamed Zuozuo township.

In 2013, there were 1363 people in 411 households, including 327 people in 91 households in shangzuozuo village, 420 people in 130 households in xiazuozuo village and 616 people in 190 households in Langjiu village.

There is a school in the township (zuozouxiang kindergarten), with 22 senior high school students, 60 junior high school students, 128 primary school students and 3 full-time primary school teachers.

In 2013, there were 170 party members in the township, including 39 party members from township organs, 57 party members from Langjiu village, 45 party members from shangzuozuo village and 29 party members from xiazuozuo village.
