Two advanced military helicopters are used to help the Tibetan people fight the locust plague. Li Xiang, deputy head of the team, said that more than 50 sorties were flown at the first station and more than 30 tons of pesticides were sprayed. it is understood that military aircraft operations can basically control the current trend of locust infestation. However, due to the gradual excavation of locusts in Tibet from May to October, the locusts unearthed after this operation still need to be controlled. in recent years, Tibetan migratory locusts have been rampant on the Tibetan Plateau, but their life history and habits are still mysterious. Experts believe that because the relevant research on Tibetan migratory locust is still in its infancy, many fields are still blank, so it is difficult to control it.
