Chaina Village

Jilong County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs the township and six village committees, namely Qana village, nailong village, Ganbu village, kongmu village, Tangguo village and Changdan village.

It is located in the northeast of Jilong County, adjacent to zheba Township in the west, danga Township in GA County in the north, xiaru Township in Saga County in the East, 100 kilometers away from the county government.

It covers an area of 1668.8 square kilometers and has a population of 3228 (2017).

Historical evolution

Dongan district was built in 1961, changed to Chana District in 1963, and changed to township in 1987.

Agriculture

In the rural areas with agriculture as the main part, highland barley, wheat and radish are planted and sheep, goats and cattle are raised.

In 2014, the total economic income of the township was 24.07 million yuan, the per capita income was 6 798 yuan, the labor export was 1 750 person times, the income reached 2.97 million yuan, the number of livestock sold was 14 454, and the income was 939.51 yuan.

There are highways connecting saga county and Nyalam county.

In 2015, Chaina Township completed the nailongrega reservoir project and Tangguo village pipeline project in Chaina Township, which improved the irrigation conditions of 1255.5 mu farmland; completed the farmland and village protection project in Ganbu village in Chaina Township, which protected more than 900 mu farmland and villages from flood.

On April 8, 2016, the bidding announcement was issued for the improvement project of Bima line Chakou Tangguo village highway in Chaina Township, Jilong County, with the construction scale of 20km Subgrade Earthwork and 20km pavement construction procedure.

In September 2016, Chaina township was carrying out the construction of civilian houses after the "4.25" earthquake, with a total of 238 households under construction.

On November 26, 2019, the rural passenger transport line will be opened from Jilong county to Qana township.

On July 26, 2018, Chana Township held a tour of "health education into the countryside, health education into the hearts of the people" in the government hospital to publicize medical and health knowledge, medical and health policies, and spread healthy lifestyles by means of theatrical performances, sketches, explanations, and tours.

In June 2019, the second "Jiaxie" culture and Art Festival was held in Chaina Township, Jilong County, with more than 1000 people participating in the event.
