Quebu Township

Dingjie County, Xigaze City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs towns and nine administrative villages. In the north of Dingjie County, Xigaze City, Tibet, zhaxigang township is adjacent to the East, 30 kilometers away from the county government. The township covers an area of 344.3 square kilometers. It is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral Township, planting highland barley and rape, and Grazing Yaks, sheep and goats.

Historical evolution

Kebu township was established in 1961.

The commune was changed in 1972.

In 1988, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, the township was restored.

In 2016, the breeding base of Tibetan snow chicken under forest in Quebu township was established to drive the development of Tibetan snow chicken breeding in 9 villages of the township.

Cultural Activity

On March 28, 2018, Kebu Township held cultural and sports activities to celebrate the 59th anniversary of the liberation of Tibet's million farmers and herdsmen. The activities included tug of war competition, singing and dancing performances by County folk art troupes and village literature and art teams.

love outreach

In March 2015, the Communist Youth League Committee of Dingjie County sent 18 pieces of love winter clothes and 17 pairs of cotton shoes for the poor youth and League members in Lalong village of Quebu Township from the clothes donated by the caring person qujilam, with a total price of more than 4500 yuan.

On September 21, 2017, Quebu Township called on members of the volunteer service team of township government officials to help sorang's family, who was short of labor force, harvest in autumn in jidui village.
