Renqinze Township

Renqinze township is located in Xietongmen County, Tibet, in the south central part of Tibet Autonomous Region, the north of Xigaze City, and the North Bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River. In April 1989, Niuji Township, nanmujiagang Township and renqinze Township were merged into a new renqinze township. It has jurisdiction over 12 village committees, including renqinze, xiongcuo, niumei, luomei, nanmuding, lagang, Wulun, sardinde, lunzhuzi, nanmujia, guomude and zhuqin.

On November 21, 2019, it was selected into the list of the third batch of national "anti pornography and anti illegal" grassroots demonstration sites.

economic development

The main crops are highland barley, wheat, pea, buckwheat and rape; the livestock are mainly yak, cattle, sheep and goat. The main forest species are poplar, willow, peach, pear, apple, etc. The industry is mainly the national handicraft industry which is mainly run by families. There are weaving card pad, firing pottery pot, making Tibetan knife and national architecture. Among them, the pottery pots made in Niugu village of renqinze township are of high quality and low price, which are exported to Shigatse, Lhasa and other places; the Tibetan knives made in Kaga village of Kaga township are well-known.

1. The northern plateau. Located in the South and north of Gangdese mountains, it is about 80 km wide and 100 km long from east to west, accounting for about 2 / 3 of the total area of the county. There are not only many peaks and a series of gentle hills, but also relatively flat grasslands with many river valleys and plains. The lower part of the county has accumulated water to form lakes all the year round. With an average altitude of more than 4500 meters, it is the main animal husbandry area in Xietongmen county. 2. Southern valley. At the North Bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River and its tributaries. There are many Valley plains with different width, such as Ronghe, Jianggong, Tanghe and so on. The valley is 4-7 km wide and 40 km long, with an average altitude of about 4100 meters. Xietongmen county is a major agricultural area with flat terrain, fertile soil, ravines, abundant water and semi humid climate. 3. Western plateau. Located in the northwest of damuxia, buquzangbu and luozuzangbu, and the southwest of meiquzangbu. The northern part of this area is a series of high mountains and deep valleys with irregular trend from north to south, east to west, with an average altitude of more than 4500 meters. The climate is dry and cold, so it is a pastoral area. In the south, there are some valley plains of different width, with an average altitude of more than 4200 meters. The climate is semi humid, semi warm, fertile soil, and sufficient water. It is an agricultural area.
