Mangpu Township

Mangpu township is under the jurisdiction of Razi county. In May 1988, when the district was withdrawn and the township was built, mangpu township was merged from the two townships originally belonging to Quxia district. Township government in Nai village, located in the south of the county, 15 kilometers away from the county government.

It covers an area of 636.61 square kilometers and has a population of 3755 (2017). It has jurisdiction over seven village committees, namely Nai, PU, Dalong, nalachi, gongqiong, zamuga and Qugu.

Travel

Mangpu hot spring is located on the north slope of the Himalayan mountain. It is located on the hillside of the east mountain of qiugu Village (Note: "qiugu", meaning Tibetan hot spring) 8 kilometers southwest of mangpu township. The altitude is 4800 meters. From a distance, it is shrouded in smoke, giving people a mysterious feeling. The scenery is very spectacular. Spring water from the hillside of the stone in the hidden gushing five springs, into two artificial pool each about 20 square meters, two pools have a small hole connected, pool built on five stone Tibetan bungalows, after years of erosion, has been stripped old. The water surface is foggy, and the degree of water turbidity often changes with the change of mineral activity. Sometimes it is clear to the bottom, and sometimes it is milky white. The local people call it "sacred water". The water temperature is constant throughout the year, generally around 50 ℃.
