Laluo Township

Sakya County, Xigaze City, Tibet Autonomous Region. Located in the east of the county, 153 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 949.54 square kilometers and has a population of 3812 (2017).

Laluo township was set up in 1959, changed to commune in 1972 and restored to township in 1984. Under its jurisdiction, Laluo township has 17 village committees: Chuzu, qiuluo, duocha, Kawu, deqinggang, Duibai, Luoding, Jue, qiusang, Ta, Zhangji, laduo, Se, Gabu, Dabu, bang and Gabu.

Economics

Laluo township is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral Township with agriculture as the main body. It grows highland barley, rape and peas, and grazes sheep, goats, yaks, cattle and donkeys.
