Qumei town

Sangzhuzi District of Shigatse City governs the township. Qumei township was established in January 1960. When the district was withdrawn in 1988, three townships belonging to Qumei district were merged to build Qumei township. The staff of the technology extension station and Animal Prevention Station of the Municipal Bureau of agriculture and animal husbandry taught about the selection, market operation, management, prevention and treatment of common diseases, short-term fattening, and planting and use of highland barley Knowledge of pesticides, etc. In the teaching process, it is closely based on the local reality, the content is detailed and rich, and the teaching materials used are also compiled by the Municipal Bureau of agriculture and animal husbandry, which is highly practical. The villagers listened attentively and showed great enthusiasm. after one day's training, the trainees have learned some knowledge and skills about planting and breeding, which will be of great benefit to the adjustment of the structure of agriculture and animal husbandry and the increase of income and wealth of farmers and herdsmen in the future.
