CommScope Village
In the Qing Dynasty, CommScope and Yezhi were often called "KANGYE", which was one of the five major stocks of weixiting. During the period of the Republic of China, there was a CommScope District, and later it was incorporated into Yezhi district. After the founding of new China, it was classified into the fourth district for a long time. During 1960-1961, CommScope commune was established. Since 1972, it has set up CommScope commune, CommScope district and CommScope township. The Township People's government has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 97 natural villages. The total population is 10474 (2017). About 78% of the residents are Lisu, and the rest are Han, Naxi, Tibetan and nu.

Kangpu township is located in the north of Weixi County, on both sides of Lancang River, adjacent to Tacheng town and xiaruo Township in Deqin County in the East, baijixun Township in the south, Puladi Township in Fugong County along Biluo snow mountain in the west, and Yezhi Township in the north, covering an area of 493 square kilometers. The township government is located in kangpushang village, 74 kilometers away from the county seat. The village is located in the gorge between Biluo snow mountain and Yunling mountain, with high mountains and steep slopes. The highest altitude is 4175 meters and the lowest is 1700 meters. The mineral is famous for gypsum, in addition to iron, lead, antimony, gold, marble and so on. Animal and plant resources include red panda, clouded leopard, black bear and Coptis chinensis. Agaric, Tricholoma matsutake. Morchella, etc. Most of the Gongtong (pigeon seed flower) growing in the county are concentrated in the countryside, and there are also some new varieties of Rhododendron. Kangpu Township belongs to Weixi Lisu Autonomous County of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is located 70 kilometers north of Baohe Town, in the middle and upper reaches of Lancang River in Weixi County. Dewey oil road runs through the whole territory. Kangpu township is adjacent to xiaruo Township and Tacheng town of Deqin County in the East, baijixun township of Deqin County in the south, Puladi township of Gongshan County of Nujiang Prefecture in the West and Yezhi town of Deqin County in the north.
Natural conditions
The total area of the township is 449.6 square kilometers, with the highest altitude of 4175 meters, the lowest altitude of 1700 meters, and the average altitude of 2640 meters, which is a typical three-dimensional climate. The township has 9 villager committees and 95 villager groups, including 42 villager groups living in Alpine mountainous areas, 35 villager groups living in semi mountainous areas and only 18 villager groups living along the river. There are 10474 people in the township (2017). The cultivated land area of the township is 18178 mu (1.86 mu per capita), and the paddy field is 1586 mu (0.15 mu per capita), accounting for 8.7% of the total cultivated land area. The forest area is 123855 mu, and the grass mountain area is 83170 mu. In addition to the asphalt roads, there are 47 kilometers of village roads and 58 kilometers of group roads in the township. There are 90 villagers' groups in the township, and 74% of the farmers are electrified.

It has a unique location of tea horse road and one mountain to see two rivers. It is the famous hometown of Davidia involucrata and orchid. At the same time, it is the only one with the largest scale in Lancang River Basin Shouguo temple, a well preserved site integrating three religions, is a scenic spot with three parallel rivers to be developed.

Built in 1734 ad, Shouguo temple is located in Xiangyang village group of chazhi village committee. This temple is known as the first temple in Northwest Yunnan. It was listed as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Weixi in 1989, the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in Diqing Prefecture in 1993 (with signs and inscriptions), and the key cultural relics protection units in Yunnan Province in 2004.
Cultural Education
By the end of 2006, there were 37 schools in the township. There are 1348 students in school, including 438 students in one middle school, 910 students in 36 primary schools, including 465 students in two semi boarding schools, 118 students in two teachers' schools, and 327 students in 25 teaching sites in one teacher's school. The primary school enrollment rate is 100% and the dropout rate is 1.33%; the junior high school enrollment rate is 95.99% and the dropout rate is 2%.
infrastructure
In 2007, in terms of infrastructure, the township widened 6 km of baihanding Village Road in Kangpu village, and excavated 11 km of jiamalo community road and Maqing community post road in Nongdu village. 2. Finish the finishing work of Nongdu key village support project: the total investment of the project is 250000 yuan, and the built projects include: reconstruction of 5km drinking water for human and livestock. Housing project: 15 new households and 20 reconstructed households. Build 5.8 km of post road and 200 m of sanitary road. Seven kilometers of transmission lines will be built and reconstructed. The base of Gentiana macrophylla has been built with 20 mu and 200 person times of scientific and technological training. 3. To complete the new rural construction project of Huangcaoba in Kangpu Village: the total investment is 300000 yuan, of which 180000 yuan has been put in place. The main projects are: one basketball court: 32 meters long and 18 meters wide. One toilet. 38 households were transformed into livestock pens. The sanitary road surface is 1500 meters. The three side ditch is 760 meters long, with a specification of 30 × 60 cm. The greenhouse vegetables will be implemented after the funds are in place.
Characteristic industry
In 2007, the township completed 2500 mu of walnut low yield forest transformation, 270 mu of economic crop Baiyun bean, 45000 kg of rape, 30 mu of watermelon, 215 mu of Angelica sinensis, 350 mu of Gentiana straminea, 1300 mu of seedling raising and 680 mu of vegetable planting.
