Binglie township is located in the north of Wenshan city. The people's Government of Binglie street is 45 kilometers away from the county. It borders Weimo township of Yanshan County in the East and North, Matang town in the south, Hongdian Township in the West and national highway 323 in the north. The township covers an area of 282.91 square kilometers, with the highest altitude of 1600 meters, the lowest altitude of 1380 meters, and the average altitude of 1460 meters. In 2006, the total sales income of main industries was 41.383 million yuan, accounting for 85% of the total income of rural economy. Binglie township is developing characteristic industries such as flue-cured tobacco, high-quality rice, pepper and potato. In the future, it plans to gradually develop the secondary and tertiary industries and constantly broaden the channels for people to increase their income. After the development of tobacco, pepper, high-quality rice, potato and other characteristic industries in recent years, the people's planting technology level has been gradually improved. In 2006, 3200 mu of flue-cured tobacco, 20029 mu of pepper, 15 million yuan of high-quality rice and 3.02 million yuan of high-quality rice were planted.
