Changba town

Changba town is located in the southwest of Zhenxiong County, 23 kilometers away from the county. It is the transportation hub leading to Yigu and Pingshang.

It is adjacent to Wufeng town and Zhongtun Township in the East, Zhezhuang and Guji Township in Guizhou Province in the south, Pingshang and Guqiao towns in the West and Wude and Banqiao towns in the north.

There are high mountains and steep slopes, and the three-dimensional climate is very obvious. The highest altitude in the township is 2250 meters in shuilijiaoliangzi of Guochang village, and the lowest altitude is 1250 meters in Wangjiagou of Matang village. The township government is 1580 meters above sea level, with an average altitude of 1850 meters. Liusha River, which belongs to Wujiang River system, flows through 20 villager groups of Mayuan and Matang villages, and flows into cangjundong to Zhongtun township. Shijiawan River, belonging to Baishuijiang river system, passes through Chahe group of Guochang village and belongs to Tongchang river of Pingshang township. 1. Distribution of population and resources. The township governs 168 villager groups in 9 villages of Changba, Mayuan, Matang, Baliu, moduo, Guochang, anjiaba, Luohan and pengjiazhai, with a permanent population of 60027 people (in 2017) and a land area of 175.19 square kilometers. There are rich coal resources, including three reserved coal wells and low-grade iron, copper, zinc, sulfur and aluminum. There are rock sheep, monkey, bison, pheasant, golden pheasant, owl, wild boar, cuckoo and so on in yilalin, a state-owned virgin forest.

2. Water circuit construction. There are 45 kilometers of county and township roads in the township, including 4 villages, namely Changba, Mayuan, moduo and anjiaba, with 68 villager groups. Villages are connected with simple roads, with 60 kilometers of rural roads, 160 villager groups are connected with electricity, 122 villager groups are connected with simple roads, and 124 villager groups basically solve the problem of drinking water for human and livestock.

3. Agricultural economy. In 2003, the total grain output of the township was 7.5 million kg, and the grain per capita was 180 kg. The economic income of the township was mainly the export of grain, tobacco, livestock and labor services, especially the export of labor services. It is another major industry for farmers to increase their income after grain, tobacco and livestock. About 7 million yuan can be recovered in a year In 2003, the total economic income of the township was 36.5 million yuan, the total per capita income was 900 yuan, and the net income was 580 yuan.
