Kaihuai street, belonging to Kaili City, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, is located in the south of Kaili City, adjacent to sankeshu town in the East, Langde town in Leishan County in the south, Zhouxi Town, Yatang street and Dashizi street in the west, and Ximahe street in the north, with a total area of 120 square kilometers.
In the Yuan Dynasty, Kaihuai Street belonged to xuanweisi of Bozhou; in August 2010, 10 villages of sankeshu Town, mianxi, tangzhai, Dangguo, Kaihuai, yuelaibao, haozhiping, Longjing, Zhaiwa, yangduo and guading, separated Kaihuai street. At the end of 2018, the total population of Kaihuai street was 42979. As of June 2020, Kaihuai street has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 9 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located in Kaihuai village.

History of construction
In Yuan Dynasty, Kaihuai Street belonged to Xuanwei Department of Bozhou.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Qingping county.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it belonged to the second district and the third division of Lushan County.
In 1932, Yuelai town was established.
In 1936, the Baojia system was implemented and the Kaihuai joint insurance system was established.
In 1941, it was changed to Yueping township.
In 1953, Huaixiang and danggao were set up.
In 1961, Kaihuai commune and danggao commune were established.
In 1966, the party draft commune was incorporated into the Kaihuai commune.
In May 1984, Kaihuai commune was transformed into a township.
In January 1992, Pingle township was merged into Kaihuai township.
In 1995, kaihuaixiang and guading town merged into sankeshu town.
