Xingzhong town

Xingzhong town is subordinate to Pu'an County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It's north of the middle of Pu'an County. It covers an area of 91 square kilometers. The population is 11000, of which Miao, Buyi and other nationalities account for 20.9%. It has jurisdiction over 1 neighborhood committee and 9 village committees. In 1953, it was built in the township of can kiln. In 1958, the township was withdrawn and the Chinese commune was established. In 1962, guankuangyao and Maoping communes were built. In 1984, it was changed to guankuangyao town and Maoping township. In 1992, Maoping township was merged into guankuangyao town. There are lead-zinc, iron, coal and other mineral deposits. It produces tung oil seeds, peanuts, etc. Town People's government resident can kiln, 11 kilometers north of Panshui Town, southwest of woniupo. With a population of 1000, there are Han, Miao, Yi, Buyi and other nationalities. The altitude is 1440 meters. In the old days, there was a ceramic kiln, so it was named. Set up a farmers' market. There are lead-zinc mines. Pu'an-xinyao highway passes through here.

In 2015, the new towns of guanguanyao town and woyan Township were abolished, and the administrative areas of the former guanguanyao town and Tianba village of the former woyan Township were governed.

Xingzhong township was set up in January 1950; three districts were set up in July 1950; Xingzhong township was set up in November 1951; it was renamed "the third district office" in March 1953; Xianfeng people's commune of Xingzhong district was set up in September 1958; Management Committee of Xingzhong people's commune was set up in January 1959 and Haizhai Management District was set up at the same time; Xingzhong District Office was set up in August 1961; Guanyao people's commune of Xingzhong district was set up in September 1961; Xingzhong District Office was set up in January 1968 Xingzhong District Office was set up in April 1979; the people's commune management committee was set up in January 1981; the people's Government of Guanyao town in Xingzhong district was set up in July 1984, with jurisdiction over six villages; Xingzhong District Office was abolished in January 1992, and the people's Government of Guanyao town was set up by combining Guanyao town with Maoping, xiaoshanpo, Hongwei and other villages in Maoping township In September 2007, the three management areas were canceled and the nine villages were integrated into four villages and one community.

On January 23, 2015, the people's Government of Guizhou Province approved the adjustment of township administrative divisions in Pu'an County, abolishing guankuangyao town and woyan Township, and setting up Xingzhong Town, which governs Tianba village of former guankuangyao town and woyan Township, and Xingzhong Town People's government is located in Xingguang community.

On June 1, 2015, Xingzhong town was officially established.

In 2011, the birth rate was 9.96 ‰, the death rate was 2.32 ‰, and the natural growth rate was 7.34 ‰.

The maximum distance from east to west is 9.5 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 12 kilometers, covering a total area of 91 square kilometers. The land area is 90.67 square kilometers, accounting for 99.64%; the water area is 0.33 square kilometers, accounting for 0.36%. The population density is 175 per square kilometer.
