Daping Miao Yi Township

Daping Miao Yi township is located in the northeast of Zhijin County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. It is adjacent to Longchang town in the East and Southeast, Huaqi town in the south, Nayong Township in the west, Shajing Miao Yi Gelao Township and Jinlan town in Qianxi County across Liuchong River in the north, with an administrative area of 55.1 square kilometers.

In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to longkuazexi; in January 1992, it was withdrawn from the district and merged into a township, which was merged into Daping Miao and Yi Township from Daping, Wuli and qingjiao. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the Miao and Yi people in Daping was 23993. History of construction

In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to longtuzexi.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to huaizhongli.

At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to the eastern district.

In 1932, it belonged to Taiping Township of five districts.

In 1935, it belonged to the three districts of Taiping and the five guarantees.

In 1944, it belonged to Tenglong town.

In June 1950, it belonged to three districts.

In September 1958, three communes, Daping, Wuli and qingjiao, were established.

In February 1984, it was divided into three townships: Daping, Wuli and qingjiao.
