Nanwangzhuang town

Nan Wang Zhuang Town, belonging to Anping County, Hengshui City, Hebei, is located in the southwest of Anping County, east of Shenzhou, South to Xinji, West to tie tie town of Shenze County, North and Shenzhou, and 61.44 hectares of area, with a registered residence area of 35577.

In June 1953, jianjiaobei township was established. In August 1958, the red flag commune was rebuilt. In 1961, it was renamed nanwangzhuang commune. In December 1983, it was changed to nanwangzhuang township. In January 1996, nanwangsong township was incorporated into the city. In March 1998, nanwangzhuang township was changed into a town. As of June 2020, nanwangzhuang town has 25 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 142 industrial enterprises in nanwangzhuang Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 37 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History and culture

It is said that during the Hongwu year of the Ming Dynasty, the Wang family moved here from Hongdong County, Shanxi Province by imperial edict, and got its name Wangjiazhuang by surname. During the period of the Republic of China, it was also called jiaowangzhuang and Wangzhuang. In 1950, it was renamed nanwangzhuang.

Honorary title

Nanwangzhuang town has been successively named as "civilized town" and "advanced unit of economic work" by provinces and cities. It is "advanced town of opening up" and "demonstration town of agricultural industrialization" in Hengshui City. It has been rated as "top ten towns" by Hengshui municipal Party committee and municipal government for many years.
