History of construction
Yelangba is the site of Yelang County in Tang and Song dynasties.
In the 16th year of Zhenguan (642), the Imperial Court opened a cave and set up Bochuan town. Soon after, it was renamed Zhenzhou and Yelang county. It was under the jurisdiction of Yelang County, Ligao County, Leyuan county and Rongyi county. It was renamed Zhenzhou. Yelang town was under the jurisdiction of Yelang County.
In 1120, the second year of Xuanhe in the Northern Song Dynasty, after the withdrawal of Yelang county.
The Ming and Qing dynasties belong to yelangli.
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty (1875-1908), it belonged to the fourth district.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Songkan district office.
After 1950, it belongs to the seventh district.
From 1963 to 1991, it was incorporated into Xinzhan district.

Yelang town is located in the transition zone from the west slope of daluoshan mountains to Sichuan Basin. The terrain is high in the East and low in the west, high in the South and low in the north. The highest point is located in jizhaoyan, Sihe formation, Huafeng village, with an altitude of 1720m; the lowest point is located in yelangba, with an altitude of 520m.

In the slightly north of xizitang, it joins Heilongjiang River from the north, with a length of 50 km, a drainage area of 148 square kilometers and an average annual flow of 8 m3 / s. As of 2007, 18 tombs of the Song Dynasty and more than 200 stone carvings have been found in Yelang. The 18 tombs of the Song Dynasty are located within 5 kilometers around the government of rongyelang town. In 1961 and 1982, the first two tombs found in Yangba tomb were listed as provincial cultural relics protection units twice.
