Zhongba Street

Zhongba street is under the jurisdiction of Shiqian County, Tongren City, Guizhou Province. It is 8 kilometers south of Shiqian County. It borders Pingshan Township in the East and south, Ganxi Township and Guorong Township in the west, and Longjing Township and Tangshan street in the north.

On January 14, 2016, the people's Government of Guizhou Province approved the revocation of the establishment of Zhongba town and the establishment of Zhongba street.

Zhongba street belongs to the subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, with low and medium mountains and hills as the main landform. The terrain fluctuates greatly. The altitude is between 500-1000 meters. The annual average climate is 25 ℃, and the annual rainfall is 1250 mm. The territory has dense vegetation, excellent water quality and forest coverage rate of 47%. There are rare animals and plants such as Taxus chinensis, Lagerstroemia indica, Ginkgo biloba, Caragana, wild Macaca mulatta, etc The main rivers are Yuhong River (the upper reaches of Longchuan River), Baoxi River, etc., which belong to Wujiang River System in the Yangtze River Basin. the total cultivated land area of the whole street is 16700 mu, including 9700 mu of farmland. The main crops are rice, vegetables, fruits, honeysuckle, tea, etc. Zhongba street has obvious geographical advantages and convenient transportation. Provincial Highway 203 (Shizhen highway), Sijian highway, jiangweng highway, Shiqian Ganxi Township Road via Zhongba, Shiqian Guorong township road run through the town. The total mileage of roads connecting villages and groups in the town is 98 km, with a coverage rate of 100%. The construction of rimmed roads is 35 km.
