Dongdi street is located in the east of Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, about 20 kilometers away from Shuangshui street. It is bounded by Sancha River, bordering Qinglin Miao Yi Township, bordering bide town in the East, Baohua town and yuezhao street in the west, Douqing Town, Jianshan street, Shuangshui street and Laoyingshan Street in the south. The territory of high mountains, continuous peaks, with an average altitude of 1700 meters. A tributary of Wujiang River enters from Dayao village and flows through shanguozhai village and Dongdi village, covering a total area of 94.6 square kilometers, with cultivated land of 11500 mu, about 0.7 mu per capita. It mainly produces corn and Maling potato.
In July 2019, Guizhou Provincial People's government agreed to designate Wenge neighborhood committee, Xinqiao community and Hexin community of Dongdi street to establish Xinqiao street.
Evolution of organizational system
On June 4, 2015, the provincial government (qianfuhan No. 129) approved the establishment of Dongdi street in Dongdi Miao and Yi township of Shuicheng County: Dongdi Street governs the original area of Dongdi Miao and Yi Township, and the street office is located in Wenge village.
In July 2019, Guizhou Provincial People's government agreed to designate Wenge neighborhood committee, Xinqiao community and Hexin community of Dongdi street to establish Xinqiao street.

Dongdi Street governs Shuangchao neighborhood committee, Dayao village, Dongdi village and Zhongba village, and the neighborhood office is located in Shuangchao neighborhood committee.
Population nationality
There are 4217 permanent residents, 11708 permanent residents, with a population density of 180 people per square kilometer. There are nine ethnic groups (including the Han and Miao Nationalities) living in the area, and the ethnic minorities account for 42.8% of the total population of the township. It is a multi-ethnic agricultural township. The transportation is very convenient, with shuina provincial highway passing through the territory. Nine villages in the township have been opened to traffic. The climate is mild, the history and culture is long, and the national folk culture is rich and colorful. Rich in mineral resources, the proven minerals include coal, marble, barite, silica, magnesium, manganese, pyrite, etc., of which the coal reserves are the largest. Now there are large coal washery, 5 pairs of certified coal mines, 2 mechanical coke plants and 5 sand plants in the township.
Economic overview
The territory produces garlic, vegetables, pepper and other economic crops, with about 30000 mu of non cultivated land, suitable for the development of walnut, chestnut, pepper and other economic forests, and pig, cattle, sheep and other animal husbandry.
Educational conditions have been basically improved, including one junior middle school, eight primary schools and one private school. Since the establishment of the township, the economy has developed rapidly.
Honorary title
In July 2020, it was named "2017-2019 cycle National Health township" by the National Patriotic Health Association.
