On March 27, 2015, Guizhou provincial government (qianfuhan No. 59) approved the cancellation of Longjiao Buyi Township and Maokou Buyi Miao Township in Liuzhi special district of Liupanshui City and the establishment of a new yueyuehe Yi Buyi Miao township.
