Baiyi town
Baiyi Town, belonging to Wudang District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northeast of Wudang District, connecting Longgang Town and Nanjiang Buyi and Miao township of Kaiyang County in the East, Gulong Township and Xiaba town of Longli County of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in the south, Yangchang town in the West and Kaiyang County in the north, with a total area of 98.51 square kilometers. As of 2018, the registered residence population of Bai Yi Town was 14838. By 2019, Baiyi town has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages.
In November 1949, the insurance system was abolished and the administrative village was set up. In February 1958, Guiyang city set up Wudang and Huaxi districts, belonging to Wudang district; in July of the same year, there were agricultural production cooperatives such as Baiyi, Youyi, wazha, Hongqi, etc. At the end of the same year, Dongfanghong commune was established. In 1983, communes were transformed into townships, and production brigades into villagers' committees. In 2013, with the consent of Guizhou Provincial People's government, Guiyang City abolished Baiyi township of Wudang district and set up Baiyi town.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Baiyi town was 134.71 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 5.98 million yuan, and the total financial revenue was 2.3671 million yuan, an increase of 52.7% over the previous year. In 1961, Baiyi commune was set up in the three administrative areas of Baiyi, Shaba and Hongqi.

The highest point in the territory is located at the main peak of niuwengdui in the south, with an altitude of 1563 meters; the lowest point is located at the exit of Nanming River in Guaijiu farm, with an altitude of 872 meters.
