Labai township is under the jurisdiction of Yuexi County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish Labai Township and assign its administrative region to Gongmo Town, which is located at No. 18, Gongmo street, Gongmo village.

General situation

Labai township is located in the northeast of Yuexi County, 41 kilometers away from the county seat. It faces puxiong town in the East, Gongmu in the south, wuliqing Township in the West and erjue Township in the north. It is a typical Yi Han mixed Township with an average altitude of 1820 meters and an area of 26.6 square kilometers, including 3056 mu of cultivated land and 190 days of frost free period. By the end of 2007, the township had 4 villages, namely nihongluo, Daluo, Labai and gazuku, and 9 villager groups, with a total number of 603 households and 2592 people.
