Lac township is under the jurisdiction of Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Lac township is located in the northwest of the county, 7 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 128 square kilometers and has a population of 8000. Lu (GU) Pu (Xiong) highway and Chengdu Kunming railway transit. There are 11 village committees: Yuanyuan, Xincun, Shimen, Xingfu, Lianhe, Sihe, zeyue, Naituo, Dimo, tundi and gantuo.

In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish LAK Township and assign its administrative region to Guangming town. Guangming town people's government is stationed at No. 211-1, east section of Guangming Avenue, Huancheng East Road community.
