Yuyao scenic spot

It is located in the Yaojiang River Valley in the west of Ningbo City, north of Zhejiang Province, south of Siming mountains and north of Hangzhou Bay. It covers an area of 1336.8 square kilometers and has a population of nearly one million. The city government is located in Yuyao town. The terrain of the city is high in the South and low in the north. The Yaojiang plain in the middle of the city is a land formed by sea. The northeast is hilly. The northwest is a coastal plain. There are more than 30 rivers in the territory, with Yaojiang River as the main river, Zhedong canal in the West and sea in the East. In 1985, the county was set up as a city (county level). It has jurisdiction over 56 townships, 15 towns and 820 administrative villages. In the history, Yuyao scholars came forth in large numbers, known as "famous literature nation". Yuyaosu is a grain and cotton producing area. It was cultivated in rice 7000 years ago. It is one of the main birthplaces of rice in the world. Yuyao industry and commerce developed earlier. In Tang Dynasty, "Yue porcelain" produced in Shanglin lake was called "secret color porcelain". Now, Yuyao has initially formed an industrial economic system with the textile and processing industry as the pillar, the machinery, plastics, electronic instruments and other industries as the focus, and the combination of small and medium-sized enterprises and township enterprises. The main peaks are qinghuwan hill, and there are wild precious animals such as pangolin, shuita Red Crowned Crane and white crane in the mountain. The main tourist attractions include Hemudu site, Wang Yangming lecture office, Huang Zongxi tomb, Tongji Bridge and Shunjiang building. Yuyao, which is changing with each passing day, has formed three tourist areas: Hemudu ancient culture, Longquan Mountain scenic spots and historical sites, and Siming Mountain natural scenery.
