MEISA township is under the jurisdiction of Butuo County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. MEISA township is located in the south of the county, 28 kilometers away from the county. There are five village committees, namely, Muzi, Meisha, Rizi, ejiu and Mozi. The main agricultural products in MEISA township are potatoes, buckwheat and oats.

In December 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's government agreed to abolish MEISA Township and transfer its administrative area to tuojue Town, which is located at No. 200, feitulu Road, feitulu village.

Historical evolution

Moshilo township was established in 1954, renamed Meisha Township in 1958, changed to Meisha commune in 1974, and restored to Meisha Township in 1984.

Located in the northwest frontier of Xinhua, the capital flows down the river, liananhua is near Xupu, and the Hunan Guizhou railway winds across the river. The total grain yield in spring and summer reached 9800 tons, an increase of 2% year on year.

With the deepening of agricultural products processing, dajingxihe fish processing factory, Hengxi bean skin factory and Tianhua kiwi fruit distillery are the leading agricultural products processing enterprises in the whole township. With the continuous expansion of production scale, the continuous improvement of production conditions and the continuous improvement of popularity, they have formed the agricultural characteristic industry of the whole township. The five traditional industries of traditional Chinese medicine, small fruits, greenhouse vegetables, aquaculture and pig breeding have been continuously consolidated and expanded. By July, the township had expanded 2000 mu of traditional Chinese medicine villages, improved 1000 mu of small fruits, developed 800 mu of river fish farming, put 120 fish cage, added 80 vegetable greenhouses, and developed 10 improved pig farmers. At the same time, it has successfully registered three characteristic agricultural products trademarks with the State Administration for Industry and commerce, namely dajingxihe fish, Tianhua fruit and xiyunshan tea oil, which further highlights the traditional industrial advantages of our township. The Xiangzhong black cattle breeding base in Gongtian village has developed 140 black cattle farmers, with 1200 cattle in stock. The estimated annual output value is 4 million yuan, and the per capita income of farmers is increased by 100 yuan. It has successfully promoted the black cattle breeding in the surrounding villages such as dalie and Xin'an. The whole township has developed more than 500 black cattle farmers, with more than 2500 cattle in stock, Silkworm breeding science and technology park is located in baidacun fishing and fruit farm. It is established by foreigners in the form of joint-stock system. The total investment is planned to be 1.5 million yuan and 1000 mu of mulberry trees are planned to be planted. This year, 400000 yuan has been invested and 120 mu of mulberry trees are planted. It is expected to be put into operation in the second half of the year. As a key project of moving mulberry from east to west, it has attracted great attention of the provincial silkworm Research Institute. After completion, the annual output value can reach 10 million yuan. With the continuous development of large-scale farming industry, the township has supported 50 large-scale planting households and 80 large-scale breeding households. Among them, there are 10 large households with planting area of 30 mu and annual output value of 100000 yuan, 20 large households with planting area of 20 mu and annual output value of 50000 yuan, 2 large households with 1000 pigs and 5 large households with 1000 ducks.
