Zhige town

Zhige town is subordinate to Hongya County, Sichuan Province. Zhige was a rebellion between Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang during the Three Kingdoms period. When they joined forces here, Yonghe surrendered and stopped fighting, so the war stopped. Thus came the name of Zhige. Before liberation, it was named Zhige year. In 1951, it was renamed Township Office. In 1958, it was renamed people's commune. In 1984, it was Zhige township. In 1993, it was withdrawn from township to build town. The town government was stationed at No. 43 Wenchang street, Zhige market town. The town was divided into Zhihuo street and Wenchang village, 10 kilometers away from Hongya County.

Zhigeduo is mountainous and hilly, with a small amount of flat land in the dam area along the Qingyi River. It belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with annual precipitation of more than 1500mm and cloudy. Lianhua village and QINGGANGPING village have higher altitude, about 500m-600m. The highest altitude of the town is about 1000m. the town is rich in forest vegetation, with a vegetation coverage rate of more than 70%. Zhige is located on the South Bank of Yijiang River, 11 kilometers southwest of Hongya. It is backed by Daguanshan and xiaoguanshan, and the old street stands by the river. The street is about 400 meters long and 5 meters wide. Most of the houses in the town are of wooden structure and tile covered. Zhige town is located in the South Gate of Hongya County. It is a must pass of Wawu mountain scenic spot, a national forest park for tourism.

Historical changes

Zhige town was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. It was called "Zhige sound" in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and changed its name until the Republic of China. In the past, Zhige, like Sanbao and Luoba, was a cargo water terminal, which was prosperous for a time. The origin of Zhige has something to do with the temple of marquis Wu on the street in the ancient town: it is said that Han zhaolie and Zhuge Liang would fight here. The local leader looked at the wind and said, "the dry feather stopped.". After that, the people here set up a temple of marquis Wu at the mouth of the town to offer sacrifices to Kong Ming.

The village has 4950 mu of tea garden, 20 tea pruning machines, 300 tons of tea, 3.1 million yuan of tea output value, and 2178 yuan of per capita net income of tea, accounting for 55% of the annual per capita net income. in recent years, QINGGANGPING village has made great efforts to develop tea production in line with local conditions, and actively carried out the construction of green food tea and export green tea base, livestock and poultry breeding and ecological tea garden sightseeing by adopting the technologies of standardized cultivation of tea trees, comprehensive development of biogas, straw returning to the field and utilization of agricultural waste resources.

Baihuatan hydropower station project has begun to play its due social and economic benefits, which is of great significance to improve the flood control capacity, environmental protection and regional development of Qingyi River Basin.
