Telguo Village

Telguo township (abolished) is a township under the jurisdiction of Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was founded in 1952, renamed telguo Township in 1956, changed to telguo commune in 1973 and restored to telguo Township in 1984. Telguo township is located in the northwest of the county, 40 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 73.1 square kilometers and has a population of 3000. It has jurisdiction over five village committees, namely tercha, tebowu, Nama oju, Luojiao OBU and gumulo. Telguo Township mainly produces potato, buckwheat, rice, corn, oats and beans.

Evolution of organizational system

It was founded in 1952, renamed telguo Township in 1956, changed to telguo commune in 1973 and restored to telguo Township in 1984.

In January 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province issued the reply of the people's Government of Sichuan Province on the approval of Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Puge county and other seven counties (cfzm [2021] No. 1). Wudaoqing Township, terguo Township, Mahong Township and Hongmoyida Township were abolished and wudaoqing town was established. The former wudaoqing Township, the former Teluo Township, the former Mahong Township and the former Hongmoyida Township belong to the administrative region of wudaoqing town. The people's Government of wudaoqing town is located at No.1 cailuo Road, cailuobo village.
