Jiatie Township

Jiatie Township, with pleasant climate, warm freezing and cool summer, sufficient sunshine and good natural conditions, is the production base of grain, oil, cocoon, tobacco, animal husbandry, fruit, medicinal materials, castor and so on. Located in the southeast of the Autonomous Prefecture.

On January 12, 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed that Liangshan Prefecture should adjust the administrative divisions of some towns in Puge county and other seven counties, abolish jiatie Township, Zhulian Township, YUEWU Township and Caizi Township, and establish jiatie town.

The territory has beautiful scenery and unique tourism resources. Luoji Mountain is a national key scenic spot. It is famous for its wild, strange, precipitous, secluded, dangerous and beautiful features, as well as its "glacial lakes, glacial grooves, sharp ridges, sea of flowers and hot spring waterfalls".

Puge County governs the township. Jiatie township was established in 1952, merged into Xinghuo commune in 1960, restored to jiatie Township in 1961, changed to commune in 1972, and set up jiatie Township in 1984. It is located in the north of the county, 59 km away from the county. It covers an area of 71.29 square kilometers and has a population of 6319 (2017). It has jurisdiction over six village committees, namely amu, lobori, Renjia Luogu, morfeitie, duer and wadalo. Agriculture mainly produces rice and corn. Plant lacquer tree, peach, plum and apple.

Luoji Mountain

It is a virgin tourism land to be developed in China. Located at the junction of Xichang City and Puge County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, about an hour's drive from Xichang City. "The great Luoji Mountain, with its high vault, is a place of great height. Its water is as long as a rainbow. More than 170 Li, the mountain ice source, smoke swept the forest, dew grass, water Mi strange stone, birds flying, animals roaring dance, Yang steaming shade, smoke cloud, static and into the LAN, moving and into the wind. Rise and cloud, fall and make rain. This section of the Xichang county annals summarizes the magnificent and beautiful scenery of Luoji Mountain. Ma Zhongliang, a Jinshi in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, once wrote "Luoji Mountain is open, Emei Mountain is closed" in his ancient books, which sums up the scenic spots of Luoji Mountain as: "Twelve Buddha Caves, eighteen roofs, twenty-five Ping, thirty-two Tianchi, one hundred single eight sceneries".

Luoji Mountain is famous for its vast and magnificent landscape. Its main peak is also ruseyu peak, which is 4359 meters above sea level. It is shaped like a green snail and a snail shaped bun, so it is named Luoji Mountain. It is located in Xichang, Puge and Dechang counties and one city. It is 64 kilometers long from north to South and 35 kilometers wide from east to west. The scenic area is 1083 square kilometers.

In 1986, Luoji Mountain was listed by Sichuan Provincial People's government as one of the first batch of large-scale comprehensive scenic spots with provincial natural scenery, cultural relics, historical sites and ethnic customs. Up to now, there are vast virgin forests, vast grasslands, numerous rare flowers, rare birds and animals.
