Taozi Township

Taozi township is under the jurisdiction of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Taozi township was established in 1953, changed to commune in 1972, and restored to township in 1984.

On June 12, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Taozi township.

Taozi township is located in the southwest of the county, 81 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 230.44 square kilometers and has a population of 6195 (2017). It is a four grade mountain heavy two lane highway with a designed subgrade width of 6.5 m and a 4 cm asphalt concrete pavement width of 6 m.
