Manigango town

Manigange town is located in dege County, Sichuan Province.

Manigange township is located at the edge of grassland, near queer mountain. It is an important traffic point on the north line of Sichuan Tibet. As early as ancient times, it was an important market town for Tibetan trade in Yunnan, Qinghai and Sichuan, and also an important town of ancient tea horse road. It is also a commercial distribution center for local residents. To dege, Shiqu County and the hometown of Gesar, Ashu grassland is from here.

On June 17, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Yajiang County and other 12 counties (cfzm [2020] No. 9): Wogong township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of manigange Town, and the people's Government of manigange town was stationed at No. 74, Shangmao street, Mani village.

Small town residents

Manigange town is mainly inhabited by Tibetans. The local Tibetans are mainly nomadic. They are tough, rough and weather beaten. Therefore, manigange has the title of Cowboy City in Western China. Most of the nomadic Tibetans here have long faces and horns, dark skin, tall and fierce, and long and messy hair, which makes all hair salons close down. The long sleeve Tibetan robe with half shoulder and the black riding boots with high band make it more rugged, handsome and uninhibited.

A fairyland on earth

About ten kilometers away from manigange village, is the fairyland of the world, xinluhai. The ecology of xinluhai and its surroundings is primitive and complete. Crystal clear large glaciers from the altitude of 5000 meters of grain snow basin straight Lake grassland, very spectacular. The lake is surrounded by plateau spruce, fir, cypress, Rhododendron and meadow. Mani stones of different sizes and engraved with scriptures can be seen everywhere along the lakeshore. There are flocks of wild ducks and fish swimming in the lake. Under the blue sky and white clouds, snow capped peaks, glaciers flashing, green mountains melting, green grass, shimmering. In summer and autumn, the mountain flowers are brilliant and beautiful. It is really a fairyland in the world.
