Xialuokema Township
Xialuokema township is under the jurisdiction of Luhuo County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Before liberation, it was under the jurisdiction of gengpi luokema chieftain. Xialuokema township is located in the northeast of the county, 60 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 844.01 square kilometers and has a population of 3414 (2017). It has jurisdiction over five village committees: maqingwa, riatta, asewa, jiasaiwa and gongtama
Historical evolution
Luokema township was established in 1960; the commune was changed in 1966; and the township was restored in 1984.
economic development
Xialuokema township is mainly engaged in animal husbandry, producing butter, meat, cattle hide, etc. Forest resources are abundant. There are Cordyceps, Fritillaria and other traditional Chinese medicine and deer, deer and other animals.
